✨ Name & Origin ✨
Wu Jun, courtesy name Chengyuan, was born in 1987 in Badou Town, Longquan City, Zhejiang. His family had a long tradition in Longquan celadon craftsmanship. He grew up in Shangyang, immersed in the artistic atmosphere of celadon-making. This early exposure laid the foundation for his future career.
Apprenticeship & Education 📚
In 2006, Wu Jun became a disciple of Li Zhiming, grandson of Li Huaide, a celebrated Longquan celadon master. He received traditional training in glaze formulas and forming techniques. He graduated from Jingdezhen Ceramic University, majoring in Ceramic Art and Design. His formal education and apprenticeship provided a solid foundation in traditional skills.
Recognition & Achievements 🏆
Wu Jun is recognized as a Master of Arts and Crafts of Lishui City and a representative inheritor of intangible cultural heritage in Longquan City. He won the Gold Prize at the 2nd China (Shenzhen) International Tea Ware Design Competition in 2017. His work "Ge" was acquired by the Zhejiang Provincial Museum in 2018.
Cultural Exchange & Publications 🌍
Wu Jun organized ceramic culture exchange exhibitions in Seoul and Madrid. He authored papers on the formal language of Longquan celadon and the integration of cultural heritage and contemporary innovation. He advocates for the fusion of tradition and modernity through his artistic upbringing.

Wu Jun is a lifelong learner with a deep appreciation for classical literature and proficient in the four arts: zither, Go, calligraphy, and painting. His expertise in these areas complements his work in celadon art, making him a dynamic figure in the contemporary Longquan celadon scene.
