His works “Blue Elf” and “Golden Age” have become among the finest in the Jian Zhan field, with glazes and patterns never seen before.

The master often says: “To fire these two glazes depends entirely on Heaven’s favor.” This is because the process must consider countless factors—temperature, humidity, wind speed, even the condition of the kiln itself. If just one element falls short, all efforts may come to nothing.
