Wu Jun: A Master of Longquan Celadon
✨ Name & Origin: Wu Jun, courtesy name Chengyuan, born 1987 in Badou Town, Longquan City, Zhejiang. His family has a long tradition in Longquan celadon craftsmanship. 🏺
Apprenticeship & Education
📚 In 2006, Wu Jun apprenticed under Li Zhiming, grandson of Li Huaide. He received traditional glaze formulas and forming techniques. Graduating from Jingdezhen Ceramic University, he majored in Ceramic Art and Design. 🎨
Recognition & Achievements
🏆 Recognized as a Master of Arts and Crafts of Lishui City and a representative inheritor of intangible cultural heritage in Longquan City. He won the Gold Prize at the 2nd China (Shenzhen) International Tea Ware Design Competition in 2017. 🏆
Cultural Impact
🌍 Organized ceramic culture exchange exhibitions in Seoul and Madrid. He authored papers on Longquan celadon's formal language and modern cultural communication. Wu Jun advocates for integrating cultural heritage with contemporary innovation. 🌍
