In 2006, Wu Jun became a disciple of Li Zhiming, grandson of Li Huaide, a celebrated Longquan celadon master. He received traditional training in glaze formulas and forming techniques. He graduated from Jingdezhen Ceramic University, majoring in Ceramic Art and Design. His formal education and apprenticeship provided a solid foundation in traditional craftsmanship.
Wu Jun is recognized as a Master of Arts and Crafts of Lishui City and a representative inheritor of intangible cultural heritage in Longquan City. He won the Gold Prize at the 2nd China (Shenzhen) International Tea Ware Design Competition in 2017. His work "Following Circle, Arriving at Square" was a standout entry.
