Born in 1987 in Badou Town, Longquan City, Zhejiang Province, Wu Jun comes from a long tradition of celadon craftsmanship. He grew up in Shangyang, immersed in the artistic atmosphere surrounding celadon-making. His upbringing laid the foundation for his future career.

Apprenticeship and Education

📚 In 2006, Wu Jun became a disciple of Li Zhiming, grandson of Li Huaide, a celebrated Longquan celadon master. He received traditional training in glaze formulas and forming techniques. He graduated from Jingdezhen Ceramic University, majoring in Ceramic Art and Design. His education enriched his skills and knowledge.

Recognition and Achievements

🏆 Recognized as a Master of Arts and Crafts of Lishui City and a representative inheritor of intangible cultural heritage in Longquan City. Wu Jun won the Gold Prize at the 2nd China (Shenzhen) International Tea Ware Design Competition in 2017. His work "Following Circle, Arriving at Square" was a standout.
